Just got myself an L2M a week ago and how would I know if mine comes with the new fan and not the remaining of the old stock? Wouldn't want to discover the rattle in the middle of a gig 6 mths down the road.

Hi Silverhead, thanks for replying to my posts. It seems like the stagesource for whatever reasons decided to work today but it's not after the hassle of bringing the 500x down to the Line6 distributor to 'isolate' where the problem is. We managed to isolate it down to the stage source speaker since the 500X and xlr cable works with the stagesource speaker down at the Line6 dealer. So when I got back home and decided to give the stagesource another try and hooked up the xlr cable before I bring it back to the dealer for an exchange, it pops right up. Now it's running fine on xlr cable. :) Weird!

Thank you Triryche it's working now. I brought it down to my retail store and it's just a simple problem with the audio selection.

Okay, this is what I see on page 4, 9 and 10 in the setup menu.

This is how I hook it right up with the XLR.

On another thread someone says to switch everything off, reboot the 500X then turn on the L2m. I did just that but it didn't work for me. Shoul it sound right up just like when I plug it with 1/4 inch jacks?

Yes I would like to believe so, the XLR cable comes new together with the dream rig. Sorry about the pictures it doesn't load up. So there aren't any special steps I need to take for the l6 link to work and it should just start right up? There's nothing coming out of the speakers when I connect it via xlr.

Hi guys have finally settled for a HD500X with a L2M speaker for my dream rig however there's no sound coming out of the speaker when during L6 connection via XLR cables. But it does work when I plug it in with a 1/4 inch jack from 500's output r/mono to the l2m's signal input. I have attached a picture if that would make it alittle more comprehendable. Am I missing out on something?

What if I'm using a HD Pro X? Would the effect loop have long cables from the Pro X mounted on the rack to the floor to the stomp box?

Pardon me for asking this here but does the Pro X got more amp sims and effects than the 500X?

Hi I'm currently own a Line6 Spider IV 75 with FBV ShortBoard MKII. Looking to expand my rig so will be getting a stagesource lt2 speaker but couldn't make up my mind on which multi-fx unit to go with, the POD HD Pro X or the 500X? Do they have any advantage over another? What makes me want to go with the Pro X is that I've already got the FBV ShortBoard so I can hook it up to the Pro X. But other than this, should I be getting a rack mounted effect or a floorboard multi-fx? What should I base my considerations on?

I don't know I've been busy fixing the ground issue on the new Rokit 6 G3 speakers but without doing any research on anything yet, could it be that the POD Farm trial expired and I would need to purchase the model pack downloads for it to work? Can't wait to play it through the Rokits. Do I need to purchase the model packs for the UX1 to work with the POD Farm?

It used to work for me I stopped using it for awhile but it's not working now when I'm back at it. Shouldn't it at least have basic functions and minimal heads, cabinets and effects? The sound bar on the top right hand corner is not moving.

I've already checked with Line6 Monkey that all softwares and drivers are up to date, but when I plugged my guitar into the UX1 console there seems to be no respond on the pod farm, the sound bar on the top right hand corner is not even picking up any signal, what could go wrong? Please help. :(

Or I should just stick with the DT25 and get me some monitor speakers as well? For a total newbie like me it's pretty ambiguous as to what the lt2 can do.

Are there any advantages in using the l2t over your standard monitor speakers?

Okay so the DT25 is out since I would be playing primarily in my bedroom. What's the difference between the l2 'm' or l2 't'?

Am I right to say that it is very possible for a monitor speaker to sound very close to a computer speaker with some tweaking and a different patch on the 500X? So in a way it's different but not so different? And since I would be using a 500X with all different amp models to model my tone. I should really be getting a monitor speaker which is 'distilled' instead of using a computer speaker which is 'colored'?

Say if I were to use a same patch on a computer speaker and one on a monitor. How different would these two sound?

I am a new guitarist and really am just exploring around. If I need to be specific, I want to get a great tone and to acquire the taste of how different amp sounds like. I've already own a Spider iv 75 with short board and will soon be purchasing a DT25 head and cab with the 500X. I would primarily be playing in a bedroom and mostly just for my ears and no intention of recording yet though that might be anytime soon. So yeah someone please tell me is there a lot of difference between speakers and monitors and for my usage which should I go with?

Hi I am a new guitarist but it seems that I can never find any stickies or ready information on or if you should hook up your multi effect processor to a computer speaker or monitors? Ideally?

Anyone got a fix for this? Just when I'm beginning to like my new spider, having your cabinet not sitting flush to the ground just reminds me of some cheap knock off. Am hoping someone can suggest a good fix other than 'stuffing a cardboard'. :)
