Where are those video tutorials you said you were doing ?

Upon my initial use of the 500x I had gotten used to the top row of buttons turn on/off effects. I then later downloaded some patches that were converted and had seen that pedal-board buttons were mapped to other switches. I later found out that you can turn off the bottom row controlling patch "selection" within the bank and gives you 4 more bottom (FS5-FS8). Now I immediately thought, well how am I to switch between patches and banks ??? It only adds one more step and opens up much more control. I just hit the Up (or) Down switch and then it is just like not using both rows Curious on the feeback

I am wondering if it has something to do with screen resolution. On the laptop it is 1920x1080 and maybe the programing does not recognize that for drag & drop

Upon looking further ... there are 2 major concerns: 1. Where are the patches held ??, in the iPad (soon to be android/windows/Linux ) 2. They make it sound like the system recognizes the song tone, when what it does is a "search" much like one would do on the Line6 site for a specific Artist tone. So, they use AC/DC in many examples and I am sure that they would get thousands of people submitting tone patches and That situation is susceptible to bad data in / bad data out. Seems like a good product for the masses, which is probably the marketing & design intention just my 2 cents BTW, I have the HD 500X and enjoy it

I just watched a quick youtube vid on it. Looks OK. It has taken another step to "user friendly" a.k.a. let us do it for you. I would like a side by side review.

Have had the 500x for awhile now, and did use a windows 7 laptop, all was fine & I could drag and drop patches all I wanted to keep backups of patches I was modifying. So, win7 laptop was having issues, so I installed everything on my new win 8.1 laptop. Everything works great except when I try to drag a patch (h5e or 5xe) to an empty spot. I get the little circle with a line through it. 5xe should be the native extension for the 500x & even tried with fresh patches from the site in proper 5xe format. Anyone have any ideas ?

I have the issue of too HIGH of resolution. using POD HD 500x On my windows 8 laptop it is set at 1920x1080 and the window is waaaay small. I do not want to change my overall resolution. Maybe the next version of the edit software will allow some sort of scaling or at least an option to set the window size. Just a suggestion (to the powers that be)
