  1. OK if this is a bug then it explains why I am pulling my hair out with glitchyness. How do I roll back to 2.6? I have spent hours on this....
  2. Dang I did the same thing but have not tried them yet. The download folder is named this: GlennDeLaune-HX-STOMP-Custom-Patches-Volume1 Is this the same one that does not work?
  3. Hi There - I just received my stomp. The manual is confusing me for using 2 expression pedals. I want to purchase 2x Line 6 EX-1 Expression Pedal to control volume with one pedal (but "not" to waste the volume pedal block- so to control the min/max levels on the mixer at the end of the chain) and I would mainly use the 2nd pedal to control the MIX on my delay. My question is: 1. What specific Y adapter should I purchase? Can you please attach an amazon link (that would be very helpful) I am confused about TRS vs TS etc... 2. Will the Line 6 EX-1 Expression Pedal work to control the HX Stomp parameters without issue? I have a Roland EV-5 and it seems glitchy. I also purchased a cheaper pro audio pedal and it seems to also be glitchy- noting that both those of these pedals I own are TRS and not TS. 3. The Global parameter directions are confusing to me to set up 2 expressions. Something about a Tip/Ring. So can someone be specific how I would set the 2 pedals up in the settings. 4. Once this is hooked up with the correct Y adapter can both pedals be used at the same time sending their perspective commands or do I need to somehow do a step prior to select Exp. pedal 1 or 2. Thanks so much for you help. Hoping someone with this exact set up can clarify so I can use 2 pedals.
  4. Thanks I just picked up my stomp yesterday. I did not realize I needed a block for that. I noticed that I can midi control the output on the mixer at the end of the chain. Since I would have to manually add in a volume pedal block on each patch anyhow it seems to me that it is easy enough to learn my midi controller in the patch so I do not have to waste a block. Thanks for the help.
  5. Hi Is there a way to assign a expression pedal for over all global volume? I see how I can set Footswitch 1 or 2 in the global settings but it does not control volume. Thanks, Ed
  6. Thanks I guess the only thing left to do now is to buy it and try it.
  7. Thanks I guess in rereading "all" my words what I am asking is simply: Can I get rid of my USB midi-interface that hooks to my IPAD and where I plug my guitar into and then outputs to my amp with the HX STOMP that will then serve as my USB midi interface? So far one person "amsdenj" thinks so... does anyone else actually know for sure? Thanks for any thoughts from the board.
  8. I am a solo performer. I currently use a usb I/o interface (Ik multimedia duo) and I use my iPad to run bias fx and bias amp. I plug my guitar into the interface. Then on my iPad I run a virtual looper and some other effects like a guitar synth. I can mix it all on the iPad. I use the mc6 to turn effects on and off. While I like my set up for effects I do find my drives are lacking in bias fix. I was was wondering if the hex stomp could replace my usb audio interface thus allowing me to output and mix my iPad effects like the guitar synth and some other app effects out of the hex stomp. I also use a beat buddy and I have that connected to the iPad with the cam kit. This allows me to have the tempo from the beat buddy syncs with my modulation effects and looper on the iPad. So my hope is when I get it all connected the tempo on the hx stomp would allow me to synchronize . Ie delays especially. If the hx stomp can replace my usb audio interface. If it could output other apps on my iPad to mix in with the hex stomp signal it would allow me to free up some blocks on the hex stomp. does anyone know if the hx stomp could operate in this hybrid environment of iPad and analog? The usb jack on the unit looks like there is hope?
  9. I just posted this on the Mybeatbuddy forum: Update: I got my Line 6 M9 yesterday and tested the midi sync and it worked perfectly. My set up: Mybeatbuddy midi out to Midi in on Boomerang 3, Midi out on Boomerang 3 to Midi In on Line 6 M9. The clocks stay in synch perfectly on the boomerang and M9 and all my delays and modulations are in synch with MBB. I can Tap Tempo MBB and everything synchs to that tempo. I am one happy camper. But the M9 looper does not synch.
  10. Thanks this was very helpful. It does sound like it is synch. So I will not worry about it then. Thanks
  11. Hi I am midi synching the new mybeatbuddy drum machine to the M9 "midi in" and the mybeatbuddy master tempo for example is 90 but the master tempo on the M9 is showing 89.6. The M9 is about .04 off on any tempo I chose. The good news is the M9 definitely is changing when I change the master tempo on mybeatbuddy which was my goal so my effexts would match the tempo. My M9 is new so I wondered if .04 was close enough? It is hard to notice being I am only synching effects like delay and modulation. I just thought it would read the exact same number as the other device if it was synched properly. Thoughts from those with more experience on whether or not this small error of margin is something I should worry about? I am running the latest firmware.
