  1. So I have 3 editable blocks and I would have to use one of those to use a compressor of my choice (even though there is a dedicated compressor block)? That is a real shame. I can see this pedal going back to the store in the near future. Thanks for the reply. *edit* I guess I should add my suggestion to fix this mess... remove the un-editable blocks.
  2. Hi guys... just got my Amplifi unit and no info on editing basics in the manual that I can find. I see that there is a generic "compressor" block, but I can't seem to edit it. How do I assign a specific pedal (blue, red, vetta, etc) to this block? Same basic question with the EQ block. Also, there are "volume" and "wah" blocks taking up space in a tone that I don't want to use them. How do I delete them to make room for other effect blocks? I could do this easily with my Pod HD software, but I can't seem to figure out how to do it with the iOS software. At a glance, it seems that the Remote app is extremely limiting... I hope that I'm missing something obvious and someone can help me out. Thanks.
  3. Hey Lucas... I'm having the same exact problem. Right out of the box the remote app is constantly losing connection with the pedal. The temporary solution is to kill the app and restart it, which will reconnect it for a short time before it loses connection again. Unfortunately, if you were working on something and have to kill the app (task manager style) you lose what you were working on. I hope Line 6 can fix this. I'm literally sitting right next to my pedal with no other bluetooth devices in the room when this is happening. Really no reason for it. Sorry no one from line 6 stopped in to answer your question. *edit* Should mention that, yes, I have updated the firmware.
  4. A Windows 10 app would be fantastic. I would love to have more options for editing.

    Tone test loop

Thanks redmonda... I appreciate the information.

    Tone test loop

Thanks for the helpful comments. So, I guess the answer is to record a loop in advance with the guitar and pedal and it will remain saved in the pedal indefinitely? I'm asking these questions because I don't use the looper at all. I have no use for it outside of this specific purpose. What I was looking for was a preset loop that I could click a button to quickly use within the software, like the iOS Pod software that I mentioned. If I make changes while the loop from the pedal is playing, will they be reflected in real-time as they are in the iOS app? Thanks.

    Tone test loop

I'm looking for some method to test changes to tones without having to grab and hook up my guitar. I'm thinking of something like the 4 or 5 test loops that are in the Pod iOS app that allow you to hear the changes playing as you make them. I don't see anything like that in the Edit software... in fact, the Edit software is looking pretty dated, as if it hasn't had a major update or overhaul for a while. It's a shame that there are features in the $20 iOS app that aren't present in the software for the Pod HD. Hopefully, that is a feature that could be considered for an update. Anyway, does anyone have a method they use to test tones without a guitar, when you are in a hurry or just making a small tweak? Thanks for any suggestions you can offer.
