  1. I have another POD Go that freezes during the loading. After doing the firmware update and saying successfully complete, it hangs up on the preset building. Like the others, it's only able to be flashed though the updater and isn't visible through the Pod Edit program. I wonder if the unit is getting stuck on the presets specifically. I don't believe either of the small bios chips have any issues, so would the memory chip be causing the hangup? I believe most of the chips are bga's, so maybe a cracked solder ball is causing the issue? This unit worked fine until an LCD screen replacement, and now the hangups.
  2. Yes, they are. I was hoping there was something I could've missed or maybe a self-serviceable part. Apparently not.
  3. Already did that. Attempting to solve the issue without having to send it in for repair.
  4. I have a POD Go loads into the frozen bean silhouette with no progress upon starting. Went through installing go edit for the drivers, Line 6 updater, starting the POD in update mode with the updater in DXP-NFU, and using multiple computers and USB cables. No matter the combination, the firmware update fails. I get to where the PC says installing firmware update and the POD says updating, but the progress bar never even fills at all and the firmware update failed error always follows.

  6. It made complete sense and I appreciate the help. Unfortunately it's the same method I tried before, and I did it to a T again with the same results. I also cannot load into the test mode. All of the loading button combinations result in the boot failure screen besides the update mode. It seems I'm not having any issues with the computer side of things, other than possibly a mid-update hangup upon restart. Would a different firmware result in a more streamlined boot sequence?
  7. I got the same "Boot failure. Entered update mode!" message that doesn't change. My difference to other's is that the corner has a red ":-24" rather than :-3. I don't know if this code means anything. I've tried everything with the installing hx edit before updater, tried different firmwares and USB ports. It always seems to be flashing fine until the end of the bar where the pc says the device will restart, and it restarts with the normal startup screen for halfway then the boot error.
