I'm jonesin' for a Helix but am selling off some gear to raise funds for it. Anyhow, I have the POD HD500X and I'm thinking of selling it but was just wondering how the Helix compares in size to the POD HD500X. I have a nice carrying case for it and wondered if the Helix would fit because I like the case...

Thanks for the response... So here's another. I have an XLR cable that was given to me and I'll assume it's a standard mic cable. How can I tell in a store? Will the cable be labeled and is this something I can find on the shelf at a typical guitar/instrument store? just curiosity at this point... I don't even have a dt amp yet but I'm eyeballing the dt 50. They are becoming more and more affordable...

Thanks for responding... yeah after I posted this, I took a second look at the back of the amp and it is a series loop... It's just the send level potentiometer threw me off. I've actually never used the FX loop on the amp before but have been dying to integrate the pod hd. Slow learning curve for me but I appreciate your input a ton. Cheers

Sorry if this is a dumb question but isn't the L6 link cable just an XLR cable?

After seeing some 4cm tutorials on you tube I get the cable connections. Not entirely sure about top and back switch settings as far as line vs amp or line vs pedals. Also trying to run through a Mesa Boogie Stiletto Duece 2 but I believe it has a parallel effects loop which I hear won't work for the 4cm. Is there a way to get around this?
