Hello all, got a quick question. I'm currently using the HX Stomp as an IEM rig. I think many might know the trick of feeding the monitor signal from FOH into the return inputs and using the HP out as an in-ear monitor amplifier. I have been using this system for a year now without any problems. But recently I just realized that the return inputs of HX stomp are unbalanced. In my case, the monitor feed on the stage always comes as XLR so I use XLR - TRS cable into the returns. Would running a balanced signal into unbalanced input be prone to noises? Is it equivalent to running long unbalanced signal across the stage? I don't really have a problem with my current setup and wouldn't change it. Just want to hear some inputs on the issue since I'm still not fully understand the balanced/unbalanced stuff well enough. Thanks in advance.

Hi, I just recently move to PC from Mac, and when I tried connecting my HX stomp to the PC it created this static noise that I have attached. It doesn't matter where I plug the usb cable, front and back panel or USB hub, the result is the same. This problem doesn't happen when I connected it to my Macbook so I guess that maybe I connected something wrong inside the computer or some electrical problem. If anyone can Identify the source of the problem that would be very appreciated, thank you. HX USB NOISE.mp3

Hi, I just bought Peak FCB4N2 to use with my HX Stomp. I thought that I would be able to assign pedals to Peak's footswitches but I still can't find a way to do it. Right now I can only change presets. I've tried the learning function in bypass assign but it still doesn't registered to the FS. Is it Possible at all since Peak labeled it as midi switching product? I'm quite new to MIDI control stuff. Please excuse my english, it's not my native language.
