  1. Thank you for sharing this. Super helpful! Can these same configurations be performed with the HELIX? If not, If I make this configurations in Workbench HD, will the configurations be fixed to my Variax Standard or will they be overwritten by the HELIX presets?
  2. The REVV D20 has a XLR out with built-in Two Notes Torpedo cabinet emulation. To use the Line 6 Powercab 112 Plus, simply connect an XLR cable between the XLR out of the D20 to the XLR in of the Powercab. Set the Powercab to FLAT mode. Adjust the XLR output on the D20 using the mini volume knob just underneath the Headphone Jack until the clipping LED on the Powercab turns yellow (you'll need to play something on your guitar while you do this). Then, adjust the volume of the Powercab to taste. That's it. Enjoy. DO NOT!!! Connect the Powercab using the Speaker Out of the D20. That may damage both the D20 and the Powercab. Only use the XLR out from the D20 to the XLR in of the Powercab.
  3. Loop time is only 60-sec mono and 30-sec stereo. Not the best length in the world, I admit. However, HELIX is an effects processor and amp modeling appliance first and foremost; that does a damn good job, if you ask me. It ain't gonna do the dishes for ya though. If the looper isn't as long as say, maybe a BOSS RC-3, and you need a longer loop time. Just get an RC-3 or something like that. The cool thing is, if you had a HELIX, you can take that Boss RC-3 and put in one of four effects loops, and just add it as a block in your chain. That'll give you the best of both.
