  1. HX-Stomp: I set my main out line level to -20dB for all presets. (Main Out L: FOH, R: IEM) My Rolls IEM Box expects -20dB. It clipped with a hotter signal. There is just sensitive gear out there. I set it to 0dB for recording though. But at rehearsal and live I use -20dB and it has been perfect for anything anywhere.
  2. Check out this video. This is me and it worked wonderful! Read description as well for details. It´s in german, but just watching is self-explanatory.
  3. Hi, my Mutant filter (auto-wah) settings changed in two different presets the same way. One of them wasn´t even used/activated. So it´s kind of a confirmation to me that the update to 3.80 caused a change of this parameter. I was wondering about the dull sound of the auto-wah and found it out fortunately before my next gig. Hope this helps others.

Wtf, "3.8, that´s it?" It´s about all of it, 3.8 included. THAT´S IT! There is a whole world of gear since the beginning of rock´n´roll up to now within my stomp. Not to speak about all that extra gear you would need for switching/routing all that stuff compared to analog. Endless possibilities...but people focus on what´s not in there. If you are a "musician" and care about tools to express your creativity, you should be happily covered. If you suffer from GAS (HX Stomp cured me) and can´t stop thinking about new stuff you won´t ever be happy. Write good music, play and enjoy! I can´t imagine that the lack of something within this unit could hold anyone back from this.
  5. Ok, so far I did all I can for a sound that´s good to me. So I will continue to live in peace.
  6. Did all you suggested in §1. Regarding §2: 100% for recording/mixing. For live surely similar, but will leave it to the FOH.
  7. Yes, this would be a nice solution, but I´ve got no blocks left on my HX-Stomp. Should have mentioned this. Thanks!
  8. I came up with those cut offs over time after listening to our rehearsal and live recordings (of course I read about this topic as well). As a highly wanted side effect this optimized my IEM guitar sound as well. It may be better to leave the whole bandwidth to the sound guy for sculpting, but then I would have to give up the benefits to ME. So far, as your link for EQ tips confirms, I am within the ball park (although this was for recording), right?
  9. Hello, I applied a low cut 80Hz and hi cut 6,8 - 7,5 kHz for gain, 12kHz for clean (all 12dB slope) to my presets. Sounds sweet at gigs, home and IEM. No FOH guy ever complained, but I don´t know how experienced they were. Gigs were small and big, so I guess it was fine with those cuts. Anyways, I like to ask YOU if you think I narrowed the bandwidth too much for soundguys? I guess it should be fine... Thanks!
  10. Oh, with this I meant that my pretty basic presets had withing blocks and output section volume set to 0dB. I don´t know the actually dB of "the analog signal level output".
  11. Exactly. And there will be manuals of other equipment where such useful information is not mentioned. I thought the Rolls was faulty. Wouldn´t have thought to feed it with -20dB.
  12. My HX Stomps output was 0dB. This was fine for everything until I started using a Rolls PM50se Personal Monitor Amp on my Pedalboard. The Signal was clipping. I had to reduce the stomps output to -20dB to be fine for the Rolls. I am just saying that 0dB might be to hot for some equipment (even though gain staging within presets is fine). No one ever complained about my -20dB signal. I just increase dB for recordings.
  13. The problem was caused by my Shure GLXD16 (wireless). A broken cable caused the "too much gain phenomenon". My HX-Stomp works flawless since I used a new cable. Could´t find it out so easy because the issue occured sporadically. I hope you get this problem solved!
  14. Hello, true, you´re right. But the already existing idea EQ Cut filters FULL frequency spectrum AND adjustable db/8va Adjustable high and low pass slopes for cabs and ir's doesn´t clearly mention to include it in the cab block. That´s what I am hoping for. Would be sad if it gets just implemented in EQ block (sad for HX Stomp users). What should I do?
  15. Hello, to reduce harshness I use a hi-cut. Because the cab block´s hi-cut curve is to wide it cuts off too much wanted frequency of my tone. So I use a separate EQ block. Kind of a waste with limited blocks (HX Stomp). Same for lo-cut. A perfect situation would be to be able to choose from different curves for hi/lo-cut within the cab block: -6dB, -12dB, -18dB, -24db/Oct. But I would always go with the steepest curve (-24dB/Oct) for a most narrow cut. Thanks & please vote UP :-) https://line6.ideascale.com/c/idea/90122
