  1. Yikes. I would open a support ticket.
  2. Go to your local C drive/Program Files (x86)/Line6/Tools... and uninstall any Helix drivers in the Driver2 Archive. Run those uninstallers. Reinstall HX Edit. See if this works. The latest Driver2 drivers are core isolation supported. Is your system core isolated?
  3. Try these steps to recover your unit. 1. Unplug the USB cable from BOTH the back of your Helix AND the computer. 2. Turn your Helix device off and on. It will most likely boot into a screen indicating something has failed and the device has entered update mode. 3. Reconnect the USB cable. 4. Launch Line 6 Central. In a failure state, the device will not connect to HX Edit. 5. Select your device and try updating to the latest firmware again. 6. If the update still fails, enter update mode by holding down the footswitch, button or encoders appropriate for your device when powering on from the list below and try the update again using Line 6 Central.     3.71 Bug?

    Are you on 3.71 for both Helix Floor and Edit?
  5. Can you describe your setup? Mono/stereo? Any specific global settings?
  6. I'm not able to reproduce this. Are you on the latest firmware (3.71)?
  7. Have you updated to 1.02? Do you have any MIDI devices connected to your DL4?
  8. HX Edit is for Helix and HX devices. You'll want to download Catalyst Edit here.
  9. Since the footswitches on Helix are touch-sensitive, I have found that sometimes when I'm adjusting something (and wearing short sleeves), my forearm will briefly make contact with the TAP footswitch and trigger tempo view. Hope this is useful.
  10. Also might be worth deleting old versions of the driver.
  11. If a factory reset doesn't fix it, open a support ticket.
  12. Definitely open a support ticket. This sounds like a hardware issue.
