Try these steps to recover your unit.
1. Unplug the USB cable from BOTH the back of your Helix AND the computer.
2. Turn your Helix device off and on. It will most likely boot into a screen indicating something has failed and the device has entered update mode.
3. Reconnect the USB cable.
4. Launch Line 6 Central. In a failure state, the device will not connect to HX Edit.
5. Select your device and try updating to the latest firmware again.
6. If the update still fails, enter update mode by holding down the footswitch, button or encoders appropriate for your device when powering on from the list below and try the update again using Line 6 Central.
