I've been using the built-in looper with my POD HD Pro X for a little while now and it has worked like a charm. Unfortunately, the playback is mono and I want to preserve some of my stereo effects while looping. Does anyone have any suggestions for a replacement looper that does stereo playback and can receive midi commands. I currently trigger most of my loop commands via my DAW and want to continue this out of convenience. Thanks.

Hi Everyone, I've been having some problems recently with MIDI controls from Logic Pro X to my POD HD Pro X. I have Midi events programmed to record/play using the looper and change my preset, but the playback is gradually becoming distorted after playing over the loop (without overdub). I've tested it manually selecting the loop and preset, and it sounds fine. It only distorts when controlling the events from Logic. I'm going to try restoring the POD firmware tonight to see if it makes a difference. Has anyone else had this problem?

I'm curious if anyone has had any experience with connecting their PODs to a power amp pedal, like the EHX 44 Magnum, to power a cab. I'm interested in anything compact and relatively inexpensive for use live, thanks.

I just purchased a Roland UM-ONE and it works great.

I just started using this same feature, but with Logic Pro X. It's amazing how much easier this makes things, especially for looping. I'm definitely going to have the DAW control my patches and looping next time I play live.

I have used all 8 channels on the UX8 to record drums previously, but it was far from professional. It's mostly used live, so that all the sound guy gets is a Left and Right out. All the guitar/drum levels are mixed through the UX8 so that we can achieve a consistent sound live. We're a two-piece instrumental band, just drums and guitar, and it's worked out well so far. I want to program my patch changes through Logic Pro X now, to cut down on my FBV Shortboard "tap-dancing" on stage. Is it possible to program looping through midi as well?

Hey folks, Currently I've got a Line 6 POD HD PRO X connected to a Toneport UX8 connected to a MacBook Pro. Unfortunately, the POD HD does not do Midi over USB and the UX8 does not have Midi In/Out to connect the POD HD. Because of this, I'm thinking of replacing the UX8 with an audio interface that supports Midi In/Out and was wondering what other peoples experiences were. In the long-run, I want all the audio from my MacBook Pro (backing tracks) and POD HD (guitar) passing through the OUTS on the interface, and have Midi controls programmed in my DAW to control the POD HD parameters. Any feedback is appreciated, thanks.

Great video! I just got a POD HD Pro and have the FBV shortboard on the way. I can't wait to start looping like this.
