Want to let the less informed, in on what you've learned? I've had to completely abandon the Line 6 driver. Now... how do I get the line6 products to default to my NEW preferred driver? meaning POD Farm, and Gearbox? Seems they only want to default to their own driver Which in this case seems to be crap!

Then there is this This is after a fresh boot it indicates it should be working ..but it does not until I unplug and plug in the usb cable in the back of the unit.

Since the last post, I've been still fighting this mess. I can't seem to get everything to work on just one driver as before! The TonePort UX2. I have completely abandoned/ uninstalled the Fast Track driver in an effort to minimize the confusion. I did however install ASIO4all. I prefer to use, and monitor through my Tone Port UX2. Here is where I am Now. After doing the complete driver Uninstall re-install suggested by Line6 support, I can't get the line 6 driver to work in all my applications with just one setting (haven't since the OS change). The last problem was the L6driver wouldn't initiate in the stand alone version of Guitar Rig5 without me first opening the POD stand alone application..then didn't seem to matter if I then closed the POD... the GR5 still worked through the L6D, until I reboot then back to the same. But, if I went to the win> control panel> sound where the line 6 Tone Port is set as my default devise, and unchecked "allow applications to take exclusive control of this device, then the driver would work in GR5 but not in amplitude4 anymore! So I'm really confused here. Oh and in the stand alone amplitude4 the TonePort won't even show up as a ASIO driver. I've been chasing my tail here for three weeks! How exactly am I to set it up so the Tone Port UX2 is my sole sound source? And I monitor (everything) I do regarding sound through my T.P. UX2 headphone jack as before?

Pretty much same problem..anyone solve this? Windows 10 Pro.

My whole point! It doesn't. At least not in windows10. BTW neither does the sound drivers..just to make it clear. It not acceptable for me to have a product start a download ,spend time downloading it.... to only tell you you need to do it manually..then send you to a web page that states it's not available, but yet if you search around in the "way too many" options and manage to get lucky, you may find what you need. Consider yourself VERY lucky you have not needed any help Gas_Ham. Thank you for your response.

What good is line 6 monkey if it never works!? What good Are line 6 products if they never respond or wait days to assist with tech support?

Hello, After having to reinstall all my products. My TonePort UX2 with POD farm2 doesn't automatically work in the plugin version in any of my DAW's as before. When initiating any guitar amp program whether it's POD Farm or Guitar Rig I get no signal until I open the standalone version of POD Farm. I don't have a clue hoe to change this back to how it's always been. Use to be I could open any DAW select a track>fx>guitar Rig> select preset>select record>select input type>select monitor, and go!

Just did the win 7-10 upgrade last Thursday. EZD crashing sound driver in both programs. Seems to work fine in solo!

Thanks Triryche, The page I get when sent to that manual download page is the one that shows (the lower Pic. above) there is no software avail. at this time that matches my selection. It's the standalone.

I can't get my Line6 monkey to update my drivers. It sends me to a window that says there are none avail. is that because mine is the most current? if so How do I re-install it if needed? Second; my line6 ASIO sound driver is crashing EZD2.

After upgrading from windows 7 to 10 I have no ASIO sound drivers. All the programs that use it seem to either not recognize them or crash. I have Fast Track C600, along with Line 6 Tone Port. Can anyone help me straighten this out please?

OK Great! thanks Triryche. One last question. I still have gearBox and Pod Farm1 on my system. Any reason to keep either one? If not then what is the best way to completely remove them? They don't show up in My Programs and features (win. 7). Nor do I see a uninstall in the programs, line 6 file.

Thanks Triryche, I use the TonePort UX2. I have done that, and see the bundle purchase confirmed/ authorized. But see no download. After posting I checked again, and located some of the (I thought) missing FX. They are probably all there. However, it would probably be good to re-install the whole bundle maybe?

Hello, It's been so long now I've forgotten. How the model pack add-on's were added-on! I purchased the triple pack bundle in 04. The Collector Classic, FX Junkie, and Metal Shop. I'm not so sure they are actually all still there, and working. Was there a download at the time I purchased them? If so where is it now? If not how was it delivered to my software ? Now.. POD Farm 2. When I go to the add for FX junkie model pack..I see FX listed as part, but see no such FX in my program. Any way to double check? maybe some file corruption over the years? Is that even possible? Thanks, Ron

Thank you. I have decided to use the POD for plug recording to the DAW. And the GB stand- alone for the other options i.e. jammit, Costom Tone, and Spider online.

Big Chas52, I'm trying to use the gearbox plug-in for recording on my DAW. I used to have it licensed. How would I re-license under the old previously bought license? Does the gearbox sound fx (play back) later in recorded tracks properly, when the sound is recorded through the stand alone version.

Thanks Uber Guru, I know that, but does that mean it ceases to work as a plug-in? Only as a stand-alone? I realize it's pre-sets were brougt over to POD (Farms) but they reguire more steps in the searching process there, for my likeing. Too, the FX interfaces seem to be different not sure the sound is the same even!

I can't seem to get the app. to work as a plugin. It works fine as stand alone. When I open the program through my DAW the interface works fine, but there is no processed sound and the level meter shows no input or output.
