Silverhead Please let me know if I'm in the right path... 1. Update firmware on JTV and 500X [What's the right way to do this?] 2. If I'm using the L2T then I must disable the cab simulations on the 500x 3. Tune the guitar 4. Tune the guitar some more 5. Double check if the guitar is out of tune [Most likely YES] 6. Check if there's a miracle and the guitar is still in tune… Most likely NO… :P let me know if I'm missing something other than tuning the guitar… lol thanks, C

Don't get me wrong The preset Perplexed sounds GREAT thru the L2T is just the guitar that doesn't stay in tune After so many years of performing and been in pretty much every situation and when the guitar do that it's GOODBYE BUT… I'll give it a week then… lol C

Silverhead I bought it from Sweetwater and paid and extra $45 for a tip top setup. [my lollipop] It's sooo frustrating playing a guitar for 3 hours and tune it every 30 seconds or every other chord. The d'addario strings that came with seems pretty new and sparkly but I'll use GHS Boomers 10's and see... thanks, C

So far not so good The JTV69 is IMPOSSIBLE to STAY IN TUNE… WTF? I will give it a few days to acclimatize if not then is BYE BYE and stick with plan B Soooo FRUSTRATING…! C

My concern is purely about money and a little about a better newer model. I will keep the guitar is just that paying a price now and in just a few weeks I could get the exact same guitar WAY cheaper it's hard to swallow. that's all C

Silverhead I always see the glass half full Is because everywhere I look there are basically giving away JUST the JTV69 and not the JTV59. I'm worried because I just got one with the Dream FRFR Rig and wanted to know After spending over $2k's I think quite a few individuals will be a little concerned like me thanks, Charles

Thanks… TheRealZap I wasn't able to get the software because I was choosing Variax in the first drop down menu. If you just go to the second drop down menu and choose Workbench then you can. How about the JTV69 question? Everyone is dumping those guitars like if they have a virus or something C

JTV69 = DISCONTINUED? I can see every retailer is marking down the JTV69's Are they discontinued and the JTV59 will be the only one left? Anyone knows what's going on? I'm very excited and I expect a certain degree of tweaking is needed to get best results I was just wondering if there's a noticeable audio quality improovement with the L2T over going direct to PA with just the JTV69 and the 500X. that is my main concern C

Great; So any Ethercon and AES/EBU cable will do. I prefer to get the most rugged one so I don't have to keep buying cables down the road. So that's it i don't need to buy anything else right? thanks a lot regards, Charles

Thanks Silverhead I figured that out The L2T will be acting like an amp and dedicated to that unless I go direct to my PA then I can use it as a regular PA speaker. I need to buy a L6 or VDI cable? Do you guys know where can I buy a better quality VDI/L6 cable? There are a few on ebay that are built like a tank and not that expensive. But not sure if they are correctly terminated for the Line 6 system. They definitely look way more rugged than the Line 6 branded cables... I just ordered my "Dream Rig" so let's hope is THAT GOOD. Anything else I should look into or need? thanks, C
