  1. You use the PRESET button (TURN IT and you will change presets, PRESS IT and then you will see the SETLISTS). You then need to use the joystick to select SETLISTS and PRESET within SETLIST. I would only do this with my fingers..... if I used my feet then I think that the buttons wouldn't be up to the job, as these aren't the same as the FOOTSWITCH buttons. If you still have the original paperwork that came with the LT there was a big (A3) cheat sheet that will give you the overview of the buttons, and I'm sure there will be more in the manual. I'm sure you could do something with CommandCentre if you wanted to something by footswitch. (all depending on use case)

    HeadRush FRFR EQ

Sorry - I don't know about any specific Global settings. However I do know that the Headrest FRFR is bass heavy, but one of the first things you need to do is to get it off the ground and away from reflective corners and walls. I have the 112 and just use that at home, so haven't needed to set up specific EQ, BUT I'm not trying to achieve anything specific, just use your ears and you'll be able to work it out.
  3. I had a similar problem (FS2 for me). I investigated the issue and there are a number of posts and also youtube videos. I followed the instructions in the videos and it rectified the issue I was having. I'd also previously had an issue with a squeaky volume pedal on the Helix and again these forums and youtube provided some guidance. Obviously .... don't fix it if under warranty - just get it repaired by Line6, otherwise both are relatively simple maintenance tasks..... Not really repairs as such because there were no parts being replaced, soldered or butchered. As a side project I also built a MIDI footpedalboard to replicate (most) of the footswitch activity.... just in case taking the Helix apart and lubricating the switches caused an issue. It was an unnecessary but interesting diversion, but at least I know I can do most (not all ) things via midi Footswitch lubrication Pedal Squeak fix
  4. I've just spent some time playing with MIDI, as some of my HELIX LT footswitches are playing up. So I wanted to build a new pedal board (12 footswitches same as HELIX) prior to cracking open the helix and attempting to fix the switches myself. Anyway, there is a wealth of information here https://www.thegearpage.net/board/index.php?threads/the-unofficial-helix-midi-guide.1954544/ which may help to get you started, all you need to do is to work out how to get your software to send MID at the right time. I'm no expert, but found it relatively easy ... although there are some quirks Let us know how you get on
  5. I've just had to sort a squeak on my Helix LT pedal. I followed the following video by Chuck Brand https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_2TgtCzZHng which addressed the concerns I had about opening up the helix LT, and the process was pretty simple. Now he doesn't touch any of the circuit boards, but you can clearly see how it all hangs together once the case is off. However, the inside was pretty clean, and I've had the Helix on the floor and uncovered for 2-3 years, albeit in a cat/dog free house.
  6. sold everything to buy the Helix LT .... except for Peterson StroboStomp(HD) KAT treble Booster (for Brian May sounds). Wish I'd also kept my BOSS Looper as it has a bit more flexibility than the Helix looper..... but I'm not complaining
