So I had to re arrange my I guess music work area to fit the helix on.Its on a table eye level so I can use to buttons or the software.I have it coming out 1/4 inch outputs into a zoom r16 and out of my zoom into a pair of roland vdrums pm10 speakers.I saw that it was kind of like the 1 10 alto everyone was raving about and I just used 3 presets after firmware update and boy its a lot different from when I plugged in my hd pod years ago and my fire fx.I haven't had a great out of box experience imo since I owned the pod xt.I miss that little fire engine red effects unit, any way so far just 3 presets and im liking it.So off I go to play and learn and I hope once I switch it to my blackstar I get the same sound. Ill play and figure it out.Thanks for the help!!

Thanks Iknowathingortwo that is what I want to know do I have to get a Frfr setup because I really dont want to spend more more especially whne I have a blackstar 2 12 with an external 2 12 cabinet. I was hoping to use the amp to do both. I dont wan to buy the helix and then it soesnt sound good thru my black star. Using it kije an effect board sounds great in that video but I still want to take advantage of the sims amps cabinets.

Yes Ive seen the vids but alot of them that Ive seen seem to switch to direct in when using the helix amp models,Ive watched a line 6 rep demonstrate it on andertons you tube and he had it straight in to a fender amp BUT was only using the the helix like an effects board when he used the modeling part he switched to a powered 10 inch pa speaker whic is why im still not sur eif I can still get good modeling sound in to a reg amp or is it better ti just buy a power amp with speakers,sorry if Im still not sure but I would love to see someone play model amps thru a amp.I read that the signal might be to hot to go into a reg amp and it wont sound good.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KdFFZBN8xL0

I want to use the modeling amps and My blackstar amp sound how can I do this.I want to have the flexibility to choose and use either.

yeah but sometimes that bluetooth connection drops and im glad its working for you but I just hate relying on just bluetooth.

Can we please please get a desktop software to manage firehawk fx setting like the helix.Im about to sell it cause the bluetooth is annoying, shuts down.Im using my hd pod more now because of how it works so well with the pod HD edit.Come one guys please!!!!! It keeps disconnecting and I have to rely on my tablet and if that breaks do I really have to get another one just to run the software,or start to rely on my small phone.My computer is fine runs well just want to use it like my pod.
