get the reg helixc not lt and use send returns for your effects.I wish i bought the reg helix for that feature.I use 6 pedals with my helix that i really like but i also get great amps and additional effects so the helix would be the answer.

thank you for explaining this even if youhave done it before this is my first time seing this andit helped me.Im using a seymore duncan power stage 170 into a 212 blackstar with speaker simulation and im happy.I might take out my mackie thumps again and try the setting with those speakers,but since i ve gotten the duncan im using that setup all the time.

yes what he said^^^^^^ I like my LT but i wish i just spent the extra cash the scribble strips are nice and the 2 extra send and returns is something i would have liked.

thank you for your opinions i was looking for suggestions so I can narrow it down.I went to a store and its kind of hard to hear the cabs not many were on display.thanks again it gives me a starting point.

Im using a black start 212 cab only with my power stage 170 seymore duncan. Im looking for another 212 cab I have frfr monitors that work well but i like my cab better so im looking to improve or just a good back up.

I went the frfr way for 2 months it was nice but the powerstage 170 into my blackstar 212 is much better and I have the option of just using the powerstage 170 with helix effects.You cant dod that with a frfr speaker and if you still have pedals it makes a great backup setup.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=euK_qD6MHRE&t=363s

Is there or will thee be a way to save amp changes in the snap shots. Unless im doing something wrong I would like to raise the bass and master and a few tweaks on the amp but leave the original setting that i created alone.When I do that and save it to another snapshot it carries the changes over to the original.I hope im explaining it right.

I bought my helix LT from zzsounds they have a great payment plan and I just finish paying it off early BUT for those of you who dont have one yet think about it more before you decide.I love my helix lt but now I wish I went with the reg helix the extra stomp buttons the strips and the extra send and return is something I would have liked. Just passing it on,like I said I love my helix LT I just should have splurged a little.

I really fell in love with the helix more when i switched from 2 mackie thump 112 which sounded good to my blackstar 212 cab and Seymour Duncan power stage 170.eq and just a great a portable power amp.

As funny as it might be its not that bad of a question.BE-100 (Clean channel coming later) Lonestar (Ch1 coming later) Also Being that I dont read everything it was a nice surprise to see the ability to assign effects to FS pedals with the editor.

I never got into my firehawk the whole tablet bluetooth setup to change amps effects just didnt do it for me.I have an lt and sine then i stopped using my firehawk Rp1000 and line podhd bean.So think about another option the play as you pay on zzsounds,I used that and its great or a POD hd 500.

I have a SD powerstage 170 and I love it.AFter I bought the helix I ran it into my blackstar ht 60 4cm and it was ok then I bought mackie thump 12 frfr speakers and the amp models sounded good more clarity but then I tried a SD for the hell of it with my black 212 cab,I wasnt expecting much but its been the only setup ive been using.I love the way the helix sound with it and i can tweak the eq on the SD if needed.IMO its a great way to you the helix and also sound great with just outboard effects in case you need it as a back up.

I want it now Im gonna lose the ability to use my helix for awhile,which sucks big elephant dong.

I do hope it comes soon like today, tomorrow, in a few days I'm not gonna be able to use my helix for awhile, so I hope to fool with it before then.

ok its weird that the new hx effects unit has a 2.50 helix firmware update available but the helix doesn't have it,can someone explain?
