Knowing all this and you still bought a helix?

I forgot to mention how he favors the Helix,so its a matter of opinion as usual so enough lollipop measuring.

Sure if I had the extra money,or instead of a vacation(im not a vacation guy anyway) I would save up and buy an axe3 BUT its not no.1 on my list because The helix is enough.Sure I would buy it because Im a manchild an I like toys BUT when I think about it its to much because Im not giving up my helix,I would have to find a way to use both,but that is not necessary.I am considering getting a stomp as a little back up.

Ive heard better axe 3 demos and listen to what this guys does with the helix.If you want to spend the extra 13-1600 for the axe fx3 and pedals go ahead.

IMO this guy did a great job with both of what we have already,more of course would be nice.

I have a strat with ssl 6 duncans Im looking for a nice clean sound also a great overdrive.Any ideas help would be appreciated I DL a preset its going thru my SD power 170 into 212 blackstar.If you have good tips to improve on this let me know. https://line6.com/customtone/tone/4196620/

This guy is great I have used alot of his ideas he makes great patches that you can adjust and tweak a bit to get your type of tone.Like he alwsy says its will be differnt for everyone but he does a great job at giving me a great head start. https://www.youtube.com/user/gtr111/videos

Thats why I use outboard gear on my LT it gives me so many options.Outboard gear with snaplollipop make infinite easy to access differnt sounds.

If you still are not happy with it may suggest a seymore duncan 170 with a 212 cab.If you have a cab that would be great if not you would have to see if your local music store would let you set one up.Im pretty happy with it the amps sound really good and I can adjust bass mid treble if needed with out touching the helix eq.I have a balckstar 212 and some amps I bypass the cabs and it sous good.

i have the sd 170 and I use it with a 212 blackstar and I really like it.Depending on the amp model sometimes I dont use the speakers and use the blackstar speakers,and it sounds pretty good.

His videos are great alot of my patches are made because of his videos.I have downloaded his patches butlike mentioned above and by Jason himself,you might have to change things to meet your taste.His pathce are a great starting point.
