  1. Line6 Helix Stomp 3.0.0 HX Edit 3.00 via USB Mac OSX 10.15.7 Slow Filter Down does not change filter direction or impart any audible change. Filter always travels upward. Hit me up if you're hiring senior software QA. SlowFltDownBug.hlx
  2. Which of the Helix models support two unique instrument inputs through two 100% separate mono signal paths and separate outputs? My goal is to have one single multieffect unit that I can connect two instruments to simultaneously, but maintaining their own distinct signal chain so I can run them to two channels FOH. Then I can flip-flop between instruments without having to also flip-flop between patches. Bass into input 1, maintain its own mono signal path probably with comp/drive/amp sim/chorus/delay, output to its own mono output. Hardware synth into input 2, maintain its own mono signal path with whatever fx is needed, output to its own mono output.
  3. I have Monkey 1.65 for Mac. It has no Gear Box option. However, I could manually select Gearbox form the product list in downloads and obtain it there, seems to be working fine. Way too hard. :)
  4. Just illustrating the difficulty I'm having finding this information as a new user. * Visit the X3 Live page: http://line6.com/legacy/podx3live and observe it's fairly non-functional. But in the header there's "Custom Tone". * Visit the Line6 Custom Tone page, there's patches galor, but there's nothing clearly indicating what app to use: http://line6.com/customtone/browse/podx3/ * Click Help to hopefully get some help, there's no direct downloads for whatever app should be used, and it only textually references Line6 Edit. Or try this. * Visit the Downloads page and select POD X3 Live and Mac OS X: http://line6.com/software/index.html * You have to scroll 2/3 of the way down the [very long] page to even find GearBox and it doesn't clearly mention what it's function is. I'm not at home with my X3 Live to check, but I did install Monkey and I don't recall it including an option to install GearBox, Line6 Edit, or any other obvious software to help me out with this. Thanks for your help, I'll try GearBox later this week and report back.
  5. Picked up a used Line X3 Live, struggled to figure out which app allows sharing / downloads of patches (not linked to on the X3 Live Mac downloads page, nor does Monkey list it), eventually found mention of Custom Tone and Line6 Edit, and managed to download and install Line6 Edit. However, it will not run on my system and keeps throwing the following error dialog. "To open "Line 6 Edit," you need a Java SE 6 runtime. Would you like to install one now? Not Now / Install" However, I currently have Java 7 installed from Oracle which supersedes 6 which was managed by Apple and is no longer offered on the latest Mac OS X versions. System: * Macbook Pro 15" Early 2008 2.5 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo 4GB * Mac OS X 10.8.5 * Java 7 Update 45 (latest version)
