Just discoverd that using the phones output to connect the pod xt live to the effect return of a Mustang lll amp sound way better then using and configuring the output mode on the line out. Or any other set up! -
Hi Guys, I submitted an idea to create a new output mode which could be called "Live" or "Live Gig". It's basically to have a good live sound out of the box (which with the current Studio/Direct is absolutely not the case). If you're like me and spent a lot of time tweaking your POD (I've been playing with it for 1.5 years now and still not done) and would like to free some FX slots which are currently occupied by EQs please consider voting for it: http://line6.ideascale.com/a/dtd/POD-HD-New-Live-Gig-Output-Mode/688489-23508 Thanks

I have hd500 with L6 link to my dt50amp head thruogh a marshall cab, the majority say that the output mode should be whatever your live sound is running as in power/stack combo anyhow does anyone else find these setting thin and fizzy cause I do then select studio/direct mode and wow the tone is fatter and exactly what I'm hearing in my head so I did try the other modes for months eq'ing and compressing etc with nothing close to studio/direct mode and all I do to that is a wee eq and hello thats the tone so the other modes tones sound like I said thin and fizzy and I use studio/direct when gigging and find it great to my ear,anyone else find this.

Hi, Here is my question, if anybody knows the answer, thanks in advance. When playing live i connect my guitar to the POD. Then, i´d like to send the signal routed twice: - a: first one direct to the P.A. routed through the Balance output left, and choosing "Studio/Direct" Mode - b: Second signal to my amp that i use as a stage monitor, routed through the Unbalanced output left, and choosing "Stack Power Amp" Mode, cause i only use it´s power amp section. That´s it. Is this possible with a POD HD500? :) or instead, i can only get to choose one output mode :( Salutes.
