Yesterday I tried to upgrade all my old wireless Line6 devices in order to run rf2. I sucessfully upgraded the Relay G30 beltback and receiver. I also upgraded the XD-V30 receiver, but did not manage to upgrade the XD-V30 hanheld. I found the instructions for this device a bit confusing. I got to the point where I should press the power button until the LCD display showed OFF, but no matter how long I pressed the power button, it never showed the text OFF. It was a little unclair which units power button to press, but since the only one that can be held is on the handheld device, I figured it must be this. Has anyone of you sucessfully upgraded this device?

I wonder if I could trouble you for a bit of advice? I’ve got a Line 6 XD-V30 wireless mic, which I wouldn’t mind taking out busking with me. Though the mic is wireless, the receiver needs a power supply 9v – 200ma. Could I get 4x 9v batteries, wire 2 pairs in series, making them collectivly 18v, then join them together in parallel, bringing the voltage back to 9v. Is my logic correct here, can I damage the receiver and how does this effect the 200ma side of things? Cheers!

Hi Line 6 community, I have two XD-V30 receivers and the corresponding transmitters TBP12. Recently I also got a V30 unit and the TBP06 as it was sold at a very reasonable price. Now I am wondering if I can use the TBP12 transmitters together with my V30 receiver and also the Relay G30 (I am planning to get one for my pedal board as the G30 is smaller than the V30). I tried the TBP 12 with my V30 receiver and all the first six channels worked in RF1 mode. So - may I have issues when using these combinations or is it OK to use all the different models as long as I can set them to the same channel? Thanks for your help! Kind regards, Peter
