Can I listen to HD500 through PC?

The best way to monitor your sound is to use the HD500 outputs; it becomes your computer's soundcard when connected via usb. If your PC speakers can be connected to the HD500 headphones output (maybe need an adapter) that would get you started. While it is possible to do what you ask it is not recommended and will yield relatively poor sound quality.

A pair of studio monitors will give you much better results, but you may want to wait a bit to make that decision.

Have fun!

I route it to a neutral amp or use headphones myself but I remember this post but never tried it:

You could give it a shot.

Actually you can route the sound through your computer speakers, all you have to do is go to the control panel and find Line 6 Audio-MIDI Devices and open the window and you will see your pedal with some options, right under the driver window you should see a box of text with a button labeled Sound Control Panel, if you click on that then go to the recording tab and double-click the digital audio interface that is labeled 2- Line 6 POD HD500 etc. and then the digital audio interface properties will open and you will go to the listen tab and there will be a box labeled listen to this device, check that box and click apply and you should be able to hear it.
