thanasisk
Hi all, I recently bought a Pod HD 500X - however the only good sound I can get out of it is if the headphones jack is NOT all the way, about 3/4 of the way. Is this normal? I took the unit to the shop and they told me that everything is fine and I should look elsewhere in my signal chain.
silverhead
Is this true with several different headphone sets or is it just the one set you are using? It could just be the plug on the one set.
thanasisk
Thank you for the quick reply. I have tried two different sets of headphones - one DJ type, one in ear, same effect. IF plugged all the way in, the sound is hissy or muffled, with the jack been 3/4 the way in, the sound is better.
alienux
I have the same issue depending on which headphones I use. I have 5 or 6 1/4" to 1/8" adapters and it happens with about half of them.
thanasisk
Finally fixed it. A friend of mine is a professional music producer so he fiddled around with the settings and the sound now is crystal clear. I am super happy.
