HarryFromAten Posted April 10, 2015 Share Posted April 10, 2015 I have a pod hd pro and i downloaded the new metal hd pack today and basically i was trying out the new amps and when ever i put an EQ in the post area it goes all crackly sounding and lollipop. anyone know what this is? spaceatl Posted April 10, 2015 Share Posted April 10, 2015 chain might be too hot....turn down the channel volume....The FX model distortion the same way if you ran too much signal thru the real one....If you are tinkering with the 5150, I would suggest you drop the Master DEP down to around 28-30% and channel volume around 50-60%....Turning the RES parameter down on the cab model helps with this also....If you turn the master DEP down and what you are not liking goes away, that is modeled crossover distortion...I think the master DEP is too high on the 5150....at least for my taste...
