robbieb61
I've been without my DT50 for 2 months now...waiting for the transformers from Line 6 (supposed to be sometime in June). So I've been playing with my band through my HD500 using a JBL Eon powered wedge monitor. It got the job done I suppose. Anyway, today I plugged my HD500 into the Aux input of an old Roland AC60 acoustic amp I had laying around. Sounds GREAT! lolI couldn't believe it!Running it line out in the output of hd500 (just like I'm running into a mixer board).I can't wait to get my DT50 back...but damn this little Roland AC60 sounds pretty sweet with my HD500!
AlexKenivel
I believe it! I ran mine thru the power amp section of an amp head and 2x12 cab in direct mode and it sounded great.
BillBee
Ditto here! The HD series sounds great running "line in" to an amp - direct mode too. :)
Brazzy
I agree, I ran the HD500 headphone out into the CD/MP3 jack on my Spider Jam and couldn't believe what I heard, sounded great to me. I did the same thing with a Mobile In out of an iPad and was surprised.
porcytree
Yeah - I really don't like the tone of the HD through headphones so I run mine into the mp3/line in jack on my ID15 TVP and it sounds great. Haven't tried it yet after the update/install of model packs but I'm hoping that I can use the high and lo cut feature on the global EQ to improve the tone even more ( lock the IDs speaker into the frequency range best suited to guitar )
