tommasi
Finally got myself a helix! I noticed that the opto trem effect does not let you set the speed via tap, unlike the other tremolos. It seems strange, do you think it's intentional?
stevekc
Use search before posting - already have a thread covering this http://line6.com/support/topic/16196-optical-trem-does-not-use-tap-tempo/ Vote for it http://line6.ideasca...ed/788191-23508
tommasi
Thanks -- I did use search, but as I searched for "opto" and not "optical", there were no results. I believe it was called opto on the hd500, or at least that's what I thought.

duncann
I've noticed that with at least the ubiquitous vibe, 1/1 and 1/2 don't seem to work.

It could be that there's a max time for the rate for that, so those values might put it over for most tempos. Some of the delays are like that.
