Indianrock2020
I'd like to record my playing, and edit the tone with HDEdit while the looper plays back the unprocessed loop? Possible?
silverhead
I think this should work. No harm in trying - shouldn't take long to find out.
pianoguyy
I don't know about within EDIT. But I know that you can edit your tones while the looper is playing. If you are going to try to do it within EDIT, I would make sure you try it both way... Using your computer as the sound source and using the Pod as the sound source. AlexKenivel
Possible. Just as long as the looper is placed before the amp
Indianrock2020
I tried it but probably more trouble than its worth. I ran a youtube video of a clean strat into the looper using the aux input, recording 20 seconds or so. Then with the looper playing back in "post" mode I could use HDEdit on my connected laptop to tweak patches. Obviously a youtube signal isn't going to be the same as my own guitar but the other issue is switching amp models and having the sound in your earphones jump higher in volume. I think you just have to set up a comfortable work space with your own guitar in hand, sound output going to good monitors and HDEdit available for longer sessions ( seated ) if you really want to get into the deep editing parameters and such. Most patches I find on CustomTone seem to have the amp parameters like Sag, cab parameters like res level and choice of cabinet/microphone at default. Not many seem to be digging that deep.
