Does anyone else have this issue? When i connect to my amp using amp out to amp input, the volume is extremely low and unusable. When i use right and left main out to fx return on amp, it's perfect.

I have checked both volume levels on fx100, the volume pedal, amp volume, ect... Not sure what the issue is.

Anyone else having this issue?

The AMP out is defiantly different, but it shouldn't be so low that it is not usable.

You could try starting with the bass and treble all the way down and the mid all the way up.

I personally don't care for it.

But using the mains to the fx return would be the preferred method.

Use the left main out (mono) to go to your guitar amp. The amp out jack's output signal is very low. So low if fact it is unuseable for going direct to a mixer board and out to a system, or to a low wattage guitar amp. The only way the amp out works is to bypass your guitar amp and go straight from amp out to a high wattage power amp like the ones used to power mains at a gig. I have a Crown XTI 4002 power amp (in stereo mode 4 ohms 1200 watts per channel minimum) set up for band practice with 2 left and 2 right Peavy 15's w/horns. (That will get the juices flowing) Or you can go stereo out from the FX100 mains into a power amp. Just keep the volume down a bit on the fx100 as to not harm the power amp..

Xheathen1.. while your solutions will work gusdeleon has a defective pedal. The amp out is meant be the same as coming out of your guitar or any effects pedals. Mine is more than enough running into a Peavey Classic 30. I cannot turn any volumes over 50% without it being too loud. The amp out is a mono signal and once plugged in all guitars sounds go through it. Music and other media go to the main outs and can be used once connected via Bluetooth even when the app is not being used. I actually use the mains to play backing tracks for practice. When the amp out is not connected all sounds go to the mains and is the only way to get the full effect of the line6 effects although I do not use it this way. I still mic my amp. So the only thing you can do is check all your volumes and your cables. If that doesn't solve it then your unit is bad.
