zuurg
Hi, I'm using some of the foot switches to activate things on a vocal processor through MIDI, and that's working fine. The problem is that whenever I change patches on my HD Pro, it also switches the patch on the vocal processor. I want to still be able to send midi CC toggle messages to the processor, but I want to prevent the patch changes when switching patches on the HD Pro. is this possible? Thanks! CipherHost
Does your receiving device "vocal processor" have MIDI mapping capabilities?
zuurg
Yes, it does.
kpsion
Maybe assigning a dedicated midi channel per device Do not assign the switch in POD, and assign only a midi message on this switch. Maybe ABCD Mode on POD can create issue, FS1-FS8 mode can help
Rewolf48
Pod HD always sends Patch Change when it patch changes (apparently this makes synchronising devices easy). The way to achieve what you want is to change the “System†MIDI Channel from 1 to say 16 and make sure that the vocal processor is only listening to Channel 1 (at least not Omni) that way it will ignore the Pod HD changes and only listen to the CC messages you want to send
