ricstudioc
Just want to clarify, here - have the long weekend, considering doing the update, but I've noted some talk about this. And unlike another recent poster, with tons of holiday gigs about to hit I'm inclined not to update if there are any truly significant issues. I've seen some comments about the Exp 1/Exp 2 display getting scrambled in some manner - is that it? No actual problems with functionality? Thanks!

No, there are problems with functionality as well, it is not just the display. See this topic for a workaround: http://line6.com/support/topic/24048-fw-210-expression-pedal-question/

See this topic for a workaround: http://line6.com/support/topic/24048-fw-210-expression-pedal-question/ Thanks - I'll chase that down. Edit - yea for me! Appears it's only affecting pre-2.1 presets with snapshots, since I have yet to implement that feature I should be golden. Once the tryptophane wears off I see an update coming - the auto engage will be da bomb. Thanks again, Honest Opinion.

Once they have a fix depending on what Line6 recommends you may want to reimport your old presets anyway so that if you decide to use snapshots in the future you don't hit the bug down the road on presets you have been refining for a long time. Happy Thanksgiving! :)

Happy Thanksgiving! :) Would removing the blocks which use the EXP1/EXP2, saving the Snaps, then adding them back in and save again help? DI out there to try this at home (actually work since that is what I consider my home on some days) AFTER today ... not today! zooey
@Dennis, there another thread about this with a workaround repair procedure. You have to do it for every affected preset (there's a trick to not also have to do each snapshot), so it's not exactly wonderful But I don't think I can make it through a 4 day weekend without the new toys, and I do use snapshots, so I guess I have to be down for it. Zooey, Thanks. I read the one about using a shorted 1/4" jack on the EXP 2 input jack. Is that the one you're talking about or is there another? Thanks in advance for any response, Dennis
zooey
Yes, that one. Funky, but apparently it works. You know what they say, All God's children got bugs (:-) (I'm a programmer...)

zooey
What is it they say, a successful patch is one that increasea the bug count by less than its line count...
