kyles33
A few questions, I want to download a library of patches from a website. When I tried opening it with the Edit program, it only opened a single patch, but I want the whole library. Am I missing something? Also, the patches I'm downloading were made on a Pod X3, does that work on my Pod HD500x?
phil_m
Also, the patches I'm downloading were made on a Pod X3, does that work on my Pod HD500x? No, there is no compatibility between the two.
pianoguyy
Even if you had a list of 500x patches, you can only import one item at a time. That item could be a patch, setlist, or bundle. So, it isn't necessarily limited to one patch at a time. You can export individual patches in bulk, but not import.

BillBee
Dude, I know the link Jandrio posted is really tempting but skip it. Been there and suffered through so many bad patches I just deleted them all. I remember someone put one called Hillsong (IIRC) many many many times again and again - I just loading them to find out "why" and it was just the same bad patch. Its better the cherry pick and DL some of the higher ranked ones for tweaking to your rig. But on the other hand if you have multiple pods it is one way to get every bad patch across the generations in one step.
pianoguyy
The files at that link all show the wrong file extension, but they will work in the appropriate machines. --- meaning, the files in the 500x folder will work in the 500x even though they have the wrong extension. That link is every file that was on CustomTone at the time (I believe it is 3 years old, which means there are 3 years worth of files that are not in there). The reason "Hillsong" is in there dozens of times is because it is on Custom Tone that many times.
