cchimi
1. Are the Global settings found on the Helix unit available anywhere in the Edit program? 2. My connection to the Helix unit (floor model) keeps disconnecting, and I have to pull out the USB cable and reinsert it to reestablish the connection. This happens on three different computers I've tried it on: a MacBook Pro, an iMac, and a Surface Pro 4, all with the latest operating systems. The Edit program and Helix firmware are also the latest versions. The USB interface seems to work fine for audio, never dropping the connection. I have tried several different USB cables, all know good in other applications. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks, Carl
jbuhajla
Just to confirm... Helix on 2.12 and Edit on 2.11? If USB audio connection is solid and you are just dropping connection with Edit, try reinstalling Edit.
jaminjimlp
You need to make sure that your USB is not going to sleep or powering down when not in use to save power
rd2rk
You need to make sure that your USB is not going to sleep or powering down when not in use to save power Device Manager/Universal Serial Bus Controllers Check each Root Hub/Properties/ PowerManagement Uncheck Allow computer to turn off this device to save power Make sure that all of your system level devices have the latest drivers. Make sure that in ControlCenter under Power Management nothing allows the computer to go to sleep.
jbuhajla
Also note that on Apple products, you do not need to install any drivers. On Windows based products, you do.
