jimbojamz
Building a patch with a wah. Easy enough to assign it to one of the 10 switches, but how do I assign the toe switch to it for on/off? TIA
pbatts
I don't think you have to do that. I'd have to double check, but, I think Exp 1 is Wah by default and Exp 2 is Volume by default, or vice versa. So it just toggles.
jpdennis
Add the Wah block but DO NOT assign it to one of the 10 switches. The toe switch will now activate the Wah when you want it on and deactivate it when you want it off. However, use caution if you are heavily using the Volume block. When activating the Wah the volume control is dimed. There is a feature which works well with a second EXP pedal allowing you to use the sweep of the EXP to turn the wah on and off. I have used it when Line 6 added the feature in a recent FW update. However, I really like the ability to use just the Line 6 Helix. So I rely heavily on my guitar pickup position switch as well as my pickup volume & tone knobs when using any and all patches set on my Helix. Verne-Bunsen
The toe switch can be selected from within the bypass assignment menu.
