Firehawk FX patch volume

Hi fellas

 

1st post here so please be gentle.

 

I have recently joined a band after a few years out and am using a FHFX. The question I have is,

 

Is there a way to have 2 identical patches but with different volumes that I can put next to each other so I have a rhythm patch and a lead patch?

Yes, it’s easy. Set up Patch 1 and save to the FH in your preferred location. Then go to the amp block in Edit mode, and adjust the volume parameter, Save as Patch 2 (which will save it to MyTones). Then save to FH in the next location.

 

NB you need to save to FH for both patches if you want them on the FH device. The initial save will only put it in My Tones which is in the cloud.

Seems a bit of a long way round though when you have a volume button on the damn thing!

You could also just use the volume pedal within the same patch. Rock the pedal to increase or decrease th volume as desired.

It’s about 6 taps total on your iPad’s screen. Then it’s set permanently, no need to touch volume again.
