Lachdanan0121
Or are these bugs (such as the delay pitching issue) only present in the hardware?
zolko60
Can you adress any topics about "delay pitching issue"? You mean "glitching"? http://line6.com/support/topic/29514-delay-glitch-when-choosing-another-snapshot-with-different-delay-time/I actually love that glitch when changing snaphots :D
silverhead
I expect there will be no associated update for Helix Native. My reasoning is that v2.52 firmware was released, then pulled temporarily due to unexpected (and serious) issues for a few users. These issues were reported by Line 6 as being confined to the Line 6 Updater program so will not affect Helix Native. Since there was no Helix Native release when v2.52 was released I don't anticipate one now.
Lachdanan0121
"In rare cases, pitch artifacts may be heard on selected delay blocks when the Time parameter is set to Note Sync values higher than 1/2 Triplet." That is listed under "known issues" in the newest update that was pulled. I understand if the update won't come to Native since it was pulled. I guess I was mainly asking if the above "delay pitching issue" is only an issue in the hardware, or also present on Native? If it is also present in Native, will the next update address it? zolko60
How rare is that issue? Do you experience such cases? In what circumstances? 1/2 note is higher value than 1/2 triplet or lower?
Lachdanan0121
I am not sure that I have, I was largely just curious. Not sure on the answer to your second question.
zolko60
So if anybody prooves such a phenomenon exists, somebody will have chance to spot it.Let's treat it as non-existent until then;)
soundog
Should be easy enough to test on your own. If you aren't itching, you don't have bugs.
zolko60
There is always some workaround. You can build 1/2 note delay from three 1/2 triplets. :D(joke)
cruzfolmli
Is there going to be the fix for the new reverbs when on mono? This was fixed on one of the newer releases for helix. What happens is the volume of the reverb when it is set to mono is so small. When you set the block to stereo (still outputting as mono) the reverb is much bigger. soundog
Interesting. I would guess Line 6 would save up the hardware code fixes and fold them into the next Helix Native update, whenever that is.
cruzfolmli
Yep sure would hope so - I've emailed support with the bug also. What set up do you use?
soundog
Mexican strat, Variax standard, Music Man bass ---> Apollo Twin audio interface ---> Logic Pro X + Helix Native.
