xxSectumsempra
I just bought an hx stomp but am new to the whole all in one thing. I want to run direct to my pa. Do i just need to use output l/mono or both l/mono and right?
silverhead
Depends on whether you use stereo FX and want your audience to hear the separation. Also depends on the capacity of your mixer/PA and whether it can spare two channels for a guitar.
xxSectumsempra
Ok that answers my question I i only have one free channel. So ill run fron the l/mono to a DI. As far as eq'ing the board should I run everything about half way or put everything to 0?
silverhead
Start with neutral (zero) EQ on the board but it depends a lot on the venue. Use your ears and turn the dials until it sounds right.
thembones75
Are you going 1/4 cable to DI box or 1/4 with XLR adapter?
brooksberg
I need a fast solution for running HX stomp with other pedals. I need one line to FOH & one for an amp behind me. Is there an option in global settings to do both? And why are you guys discussing running to a DI above? HXS IS the DI right?! Thanks in advance
C0ndor
Hi, i would like to know this before buy an Helix HX or an lt, i saw in hx there is no xlr out, but has a balanced out jack, does that mean that i have to go from balanced out to xlr adapter or i have to run into a di? I play bass guitar, does that makes any difference? ty

If there is phantom power, turn it off to be safe.
Digital_Igloo
You don't need a DI box with HX Stomp unless you need to lift the ground. Just a TRS > XLR M cable should do.
brooksberg
That’s right. Although there seems to be much confusion about this, one doesn’t need a DI. Set instrument to LINE in settings and send a TRS or 1/4 to FOH. For my setup I send the line out of HX Stomp L/mono to a powered wedge in front of me and then go line out from the wedge to FOH. Sounds fantastic.
