craigk
I currently have helix native 1.6. I recently downloaded the latest update (1.71) but it comes as a dmg file. What is the process to actually updating the software when computer does not recognise a dmg file??? Cheers Craig
phil_m
The .dmg file is a Mac installation file. It sounds like you probably have a PC. Go back to the Download page and make sure you select whatever version of Windows you’re using in the leftmost pulldown menu. The installation file for Windows is an .exe file. soundog
If you hold down control-alt-delete when you launch the dmg file, your PC will turn into a Mac. (Most people don't know about this.) THIS IS A CRUEL APRIL FOOL'S JOKE. DON'T DO IT!!! 2
