robmlisanti
Any suggestions on how I can get a BIG sound with my POD HD desktop 2 amps? Mixer settings? Chorus effects? etc.... Thanks!
duncann
Here's a preset that's for the HD500 that might be something of what you're looking for. DBack-1-7-4-39.zip
brian6string
One way is to take the same amp model x2. Mix both to the center, but use different mic combinations on each. My favorite is SM57, one on-axis, one off-axis. Another way is to mix and match one clean-ish amp with one more distorted, hard pan these L-R. Suggest AC30 + Dual Rectifier. For this arrangement, I put a digital delay in one of the signal paths, 100% wet with a very short delay time (24ms or so). Gives you a little bit of separation between the two signals.

innovine
Most big sounds come from doubling or quad tracking the guitars. Are you doing that? 1
GTLazer
I've had better results from 2 of the same amp with 2 different cabs, rather than two different amps, although obviously ymmv. As ever, meambobbo's guide contains a wealth of information on the subject.
