nacho0514
Hi from Argentina. I´ve been using my HD500 since 2017 without any problem Last week something happened: I plugged the power unit and the HD 500 kept staying in the "line 6" logo and reset. I can open the calibration menu and the flash update, but nothing else. I cannot even connect via USB to my laptop. Is there any solution. Thanks and sorry for my poor english. joel_brown
I had this happen a few years ago. For me it was a bad power supply.
spaceatl
try holding the left arrow on power up. This will reset global variables. Usually clears it up.

The Monkey application can be used to update several Line6 products for some of which you can also use the MIDI connection to do the flashing (that's why the sentence you highlighted in the above pic says that you can use also the MIDI cable), unfortunately the HD series is not among those, and can only be updated via USB. _______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ All about POD HD500/X help and useful tips
VidarXR
Hi, I had the same problem a while back. I tried everything mentioned here and more but in my case it turned out be as simple as updating the driver in the pc not the HD unit.
