titchyblackcat
Hi On a daily basis is it best to use the power switch to turn the unit on and off or. leave it on and switch the power suplly on and off ? I ask this as the power switch does seem a bit tiddly and wonder if it last the test of time.
cruisinon2
Whatever makes it easier for you to sleep at night.. but fwiw, in 30 years of guitar playing and countless pieces of gear, I'm still waiting for my first failed power switch. titchyblackcat
I had the power switch break once on my Pod XT, luckily Line 6 in the UK repaired it.

Hi Titch, From reading your posts, it appears you have only had your HX Stomp for a few days. Don’t you think you are worrying about something unnecessarily. Assuming you bought the HX Stomp brand new, it will be guaranteed for 12 months. Plus the clue is in the name - it’s designed to be jumped on, so it must be reasonably rugged. Failing that, should disaster strike at any of the part of your box of tricks, then E & M Electronics in Milton Keynes are the official U.K. Service Centre. Now, wouldn’t it be better to stop fretting about nothing and get fretting on your guitar and the Stomp. Have fun.
