TAMAN777
Helix question, I'm adding more and more presets, can you add new user folders? Currently have the 8 they give you, can you add more? In HX edit?
rd2rk
Backup an empty setlist. Then backup your active setlists. Restore the empty setlist over an active setlist. Make new presets. Backup and restore as often as you like!
silverhead
What you refer to as a user folder is called a Setlist. You have exactly 8 Setlists stored on your Helix device at any given time. Some of them may be empty (i.e. contain only New Presets). You can load up these preset slots with your own (or others') creations. You can use HX Edit to export and import Setlists. These are stored on your computer and you can have as many as you want. Still, you have exactly 8 on your Helix but you can mix and match them any way you wish at any time. However as others have indicated, you can backup an essentially infinite number of patches and setlists on your computer and swap them in and out to your heart's content.
TAMAN777
Thank you, I was thinking that too. Appreciate your response! Oh another question, so I import IRs, how do they talk to the patches that say I purchase, are they automatically linkes or do I have to add them in HX Edit? Thanks. silverhead
You use HX Edit to import both the IRs and the purchased patches into your Helix device. Then, whether using HX Edit or directly on the device, you add an IR block to the preset/patch and using the block parameter values you select which of the available IRs you want to use for that block.
