Ryq_
Hey, just got my hx stomp xl, and I’m hoping there’s a way to globally add the fx loop. I use some other effects that are all MIDI controlled, so it would be nice to just have the fx loop always on and inserted into the input or output block (or just after or before), and not be forced to add it to every preset. Is there some way to accomplish this? If not, this would be an awesome thing to consider; and, if not possible, does anyone have alternative suggestions? phil_m
The HX series stuff doesn’t really lend itself to global moves like this... You just need to add the FX Loop block in the presets where you need it.
CraigGT
You can set up a loop as you want it, rename it and save it as a favourite. Then it's easy to drop it into all your presets, but only one at a time as @phil_m said.

Not sure about the HX Stomp and what stuff is in there when it ships, but the Helix LT , Floor and Rack ships with 8 Setlist and the last one is named Templates. These are a bunch of basic starting points for putting together many different workflows. For your use I imagine it would be similar to using the 4 cable method where a guitar player needs to "break out" from the signal path to the external amp. You can set up a signal flow which uses whatever you feel you might require in the chain and include a single Send/return FX Loop block into it. Then you simply load this as a template every time you need it and modify and switch around as necessary. If you need the FX Loop at the front but you placed it at the end, simply click on it and move out to the other end. It's easy enough. Start with using a Template for your stuff, and you're good to go every time. Here ya go - an example. ExampleTemplate.hlx Hope this helps/makes sense.
