Turalizator Posted May 11, 2021 Share Posted May 11, 2021 Hi. I bought a used Helix Floor and didn't register. Support said that doesn't help me and probably the previous user was registering helix. Maybe anybody doesn't want to use Helix Native and can send me a serial for registering helix ? I will be grateful for the help provided. Thanks. I will be grateful for the help provided. Thanks. Contact the previous owner and ask him to unregister. I did the same when I sold my Helix Floor so that new owner could register again. This is the only option you have atm. I dont think you will ever find someone here giving you his own hardware serial number, as that's like giving you the ownership of the actual device, warranty, support and everything. Seems there are two separate issues here: 1. Registration of the Helix device based on its serial number as now belonging to you, and associated with your user account, for ongoing support and warranty purposes. Device ownership is transferable and Line 6 support is usually able to do this for you. They may need to contact the previous owner on your behalf to ensure that the transfer of ownership is valid. 2. Eligibility of the device for a discounted price on the purchase of Helix Native. Only one discounted purchase per device is permitted. Hence the price discount is not transferable to you if the previous owner has already purchased Helix Native at a discount. If you can’t register it, it means the previous owner didn’t unregister it before they sold it to the store. You’ll need to open a support ticket to talk to CS to get it worked out. You don’t need to have it registered to do most things, though. You can still update it and use HX Edit with it.
