bluskiff
I keep waiting for a helix unit I can put in carry on luggage . The pod go is not going to cut it for a pro user. I need two lines of blocks . One for front of house and another for onstage amping. Be nice if all backline companies had a power cab plus but they don't . I need a Helix Go so I can have the freedom to change my system 5 different ways when I get to a new stage. I mostly run into needing an amp preamp to go in the power amp of a Marshall or whatever else is provided. The only pedal boards you make that cover all the problems are the helix and helix LT. Both of which are too big for carry on. My only option right now is the HX Stomp LX but I need to drag around other pedals with it. More to set up and more to go wrong. Come on line 6 just make a helix for traveling musicians. please.
rd2rk
Wrong forum. This is where you go if you're serious about suggestions for changes and improvements: https://line6.ideascale.com/a/index Before posting a new idea, please search to see if it's already been proposed. If 100 people vote on the same idea presented 20 different ways, it looks like only 5 people care about it!
phil_m
I don't think there will be an additional Helix form factor at this point. That being said, I would think you would be able to take the Helix in the backpack as a carry-on. I know I've read of a number of people doing it. I mean, they can't please everyone for every exact use case, though.

Fortunately, my ride was still at the airport, so I gave it to her to take home for me rather than risk having to put it in the baggage hold. PITA!
