ajackson09 Posted January 4, 2022 Share Posted January 4, 2022 I just bought a new Helix Stomp XL. (I had the Pod Go previously). None of the factory presets are in here. cyclox Posted January 10 Share Posted January 10 I just bought a Stomp XL and had the same issue. All presets were blank. Upgraded to v3.8 and still nothing. After a reset (C and D pressed during power on/boot) the presets are loaded. Strange that the firmware update didn't take care of this automatically, but at least I have something to work with now. Just a precaution to avoid the possibility of lost data. The instructions recommend that the user perform a pre-update backup of anything they wish to retain, then a post-update reset and restore. Hi, It certainly shouldn’t be regarded as “strange that the firmware update didn't take care of this automatically”. That is a “fail safe” precaution! Can you imagine the outcry, and threats of legal action, that could ensue if a device rebooted and wiped all your hard work. Nope! You really have to expect a little human interaction along with taking some responsibility for looking after your perfectly sculpted tones.
