brue58ski Posted March 31, 2022 Share Posted March 31, 2022 I haven't and I don't know much but one thing I believe you need to watch out for are connedtions. I think the original pickguard has a metal film on it that contacts both the swithc/pickup assembly a metal film in the guitar cavity. something like that.
