Glitch audio with HX STOMP as audio interface

Hello everyone,

I use HX Stomp even as audio interface and when i reproduce a video from my browser (Safari on a Macbook intel with), especially on Youtube, the audio is full of glitch.

Happening this to anybody? How can i resolve?

I usually see this on Windows machines where the sample rate isn't matched up or the machine is simply too weak to render vid and audio...Hard to say with such sparse details...just guessing.

@CharlieBrown89have you eliminated the possibility that your Internet Connection -- when you were experiencing the "audio is full of glitch" was not the source of the latency?

Yes, internet connection is ok. The problem only ever occurs with HXStomp; without it the audio has no problems!

I don't know what other details to give you besides specifying the working environment (MacBook Pro with Intel) and the browser (Safari), as I did :P 

But if you need other details with which maybe you can help me ask me and I will be happy to provide them ;)

Same here. If I use chrome no problem. With safari lots of glitches. I don't know what to do

AFAIK, The fault appears to be with Safari. It has been noted many times on the Apple forum, some have offered a possible  solution of flushing the caches in Safari, but it didn’t work for me. It has been going on for a long, long time and is way beyond just being irritating.

 

Solution, avoid Safari until Apple get their act together - if Chrome works, use that, or FireFox, or any other web browsers that doesn’t glitch the audio playback. It makes life a lot more bearable.
