drorze
Well...I'll start by saying that I do know how to assign the various effects to footswitches and I am aware of snapshots, etc'. In fact, I am a rather heavy and advanced user of Helix, with complicated settings... My issue is as follows: The real Tone Sovereign comes with two separated OD circuits, each with its own switch. so does seem to be the Helix modeled one. however, when trying to assign each of the OD circuits to its own footswitch, in Helix, I see no such "intuitive" option. the only "intuitive" option lets one assign both circuits to a single footswitch. I did try to assign the "Level 1" volume to a footswitch and by that turning the level 1 volume either on (to my default settings) or "off (e.g. Zero volume in Level 1). however, once I turn the "Level 1" volume completely off - the entire pedal goes mute (even if "level 2" is at 5, 8, 10)... What I am trying to achieve is to be able to turn on/off the 1st OD circuit and, independently, the 2nd one as well. Any thoughts? Thanks, Dror
phil_m
Use two instances of the Heir Apparent block and assign each to its own switch. It’s functionally the same as one Tone Sovereign block. 1
themetallikid
If space is a premium in your preset, I would find the minimal setting on channel 1 to allow audio to past through and then dial in channel 2. Not perfect, but might be the only other workaround if you can't afford a 2nd block.

The only way to do that is to follow the advice from @phil_mabove. That's exactly how the original "King of Tone" operates... two "prince of tones" in one box. This is really easy on a Helix Floor, LT or Rack HOWEVER... you can engage the 1st drive with the footswitch (on/off).... then ADD the 2nd drive on another footswitch by assigning the "LEVEL 2" value to a footswitch. You will not get the 2nd drive by itself, but you can add it to the first drive when needed. This options is best if you have limited blocks... such as a Stomp or HX Effects. drorze
thank you all so much for the prompt replies. Yes - I figured out that placing two Heir Apparent stomps and assigning each to a footswitch will do the trick. Just thought I am missing something out on the Tone Sovereign... thanks a lot and keep on rocking (or popping, bluesing....whatever your thing is)
