aed1421
When I plug the Helix into my computer via USB I get constant clicking noise (like hitting a drum or poping a mic) and Helix Edit shows no device connected and I can't use Edit. I've tried 3 different USB cables and 2 diffrent computers. I have restarted each computer with the same result. Helix has been turned on and off many times. The attached .wav is from my phone with the Helix connected via USB to my laptop played through EV PA speakers. I have the latest updates for both Helix and Edit Helix.wav
rd2rk
All computers are NOT Taco Bell. The type of computer just might matter when troubleshooting. In the meantime, test your USB connection by streaming some music from your computer. Then perform a Factory Reset: If that doesn't work re-install the FW v3.15 using the latest version of L6 Updater. If Updater won't connect make sure you have the latest version. If none of that works contact support.
DunedinDragon
My guess is that you aren't loading the appropriate driver for the Helix in your computers so they don't know how to communicate with the Helix. If it's a Windows computer it should be identified as Speakers (Line6 Helix) by the device manager. Generally this is done automatically by the download of the appropriate HX Edit install process, but if you didn't follow that procedure it may not have loaded correctly. PerS
Start by uninstalling exsisting intallation and reboot. During installation of HX Edit, do not uncheck any options. Run all by default/just by click next.
