matonanjin
Is it possible? I know there is a thread here on converting presets among different POD HD? but it is not to convert from POD Go. Jeff McErlain is one of the top educators at Truefire. He and Keith Williams of Five Watt World fame have made a bunch of presets for the POD Go of Eric Clapton tones. I have a POD HD 500X and would like to try them. Any ideas?
silverhead
No, there is no conversion tool for this. And I’m not aware of any way to inspect POD GO preset files offline (i.e. without a POD Go device connected to a computer running Pod Go Edit). pianoguyy
It can't be done. And even if it could be done, the units aren't the same, which means they would never sound the same.

Even if there was an HX to HD patch converter, you would have much better luck looking for Clapton patches originally made for the HD series, you should easily find hundreds of them in Customtone. And anyway it is always better to build them yourself, based on your touch, instrument and equipment. If you need a starting idea on how to build pathes based on some well-known guitarists take a look here: Tone Templates _______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ All about POD HD500/X help and useful tips
