Gibsonfan2020
Hello, I was wondering if anyone can help me out with my Helix that is not turning on? I updated to 3.50 and everything went fine then all of the sudden bam its dead. I have tried different power cables and such. I do hear a fan that is running though when i press the power button. I bought my Helix back in 2020 but the warranty just expired back in August so im pretty upset about that. I opened a Support ticket and now waiting for a response. Thank you for your help. There isn't a fan in a Helix. If you're hearing a noise I'd suggest that the PSU board is making it which isn't a good sign.

Gibsonfan2020
Can the Helix be salvaged if its the PSU? I absolutely can not lose it and i cant afford a new one
PierM
A healthy PSU other than provide the proper voltage and current, acts as a "firewall" in front of DC circuits. When a PSU fails, and protections collapses (fuses, diodes, secondary capacitors etc..) you risk to damage the entire board, and at that point everything would be pretty much fried. Leave it alone and bring it to assitance.

It'll be fine.
CraigGT
The PSU is a board on it's own and wouldn't be too difficult to change. That said, I've not heard of one failing before.
